Ladakh Hosts Spiritual Gathering: A 14-Day Sacred Exposition

The sacred grand exposition of the holy Buddha relics concluded successfully in Ladakh's Leh district on Thursday, drawing over 1.18 lakh devotees. Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Vinai Kumar Saxena, was present at the closing ceremony of this spiritually significant event.

The exposition coincided with the sacred Monlam Chenmo, an annual Great Prayer Festival for world peace. Thousands of monks, nuns, and devotees were present to pay their respects. Sacred mask dances, or 'Chhams', were performed, adding to the event's cultural richness.

Officials highlighted the participation of international and national attendees, marking Ladakh as a global spiritual hub. Among the dignitaries attending were Union Home Minister Amit Shah and several regional leaders. The holy relics will return to Delhi's National Museum, leaving behind a profound spiritual legacy.
