Bollywood Showdown: FWICE vs Ranveer Singh over 'Don 3' Dispute

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has made a significant announcement that its members will no longer work with actor Ranveer Singh. This decision follows Singh's last-minute withdrawal from the highly anticipated film project 'Don 3,' directed by Farhan Akhtar.

FWICE's stance has emerged after Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani lodged a complaint with the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association regarding Singh's exit. The case was subsequently passed to FWICE for intervention. The project had already accrued substantial costs, with over Rs 45 crore spent in pre-production.

Despite the unfolding drama, Singh has opted to remain silent, underscoring his respect for the film industry. However, the rift highlights the often tumultuous relationship between star actors and production bodies, demonstrating that no one is above the industry's established rules and regulations.
