Pope Leo Condemns Escalating Violence in Ukraine

In his address, Pope Leo, the first pope from the United States, shared his heartfelt condolences for the civilians killed in recent attacks. He emphasized that war does not provide solutions to conflicts but instead exacerbates suffering and breeds further animosity.

'Where missiles and drones fall, hopes also fall,' he stated, shedding light on the destruction of homes and places of worship, as well as the shattering of innocent lives caught in the crossfire.
