Sardar Patel Hailed for Unifying India on His 150th Birth Anniversary

At an event commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat highlighted Patel's crucial role in uniting India. Patel's efforts to integrate princely states were praised as foundational in creating 'Ek Bharat' and 'Akhand Bharat'.

The celebrations, organized by Bharat Bharati, emphasized Patel's instrumental role in preventing India's fragmentation through strategic diplomacy and courage. Shekhawat recalled Patel's successful merger of the former Hyderabad princely state and over 550 provinces with the Indian Union, underscoring his pivotal contribution.

Shekhawat called Patel's action a cornerstone in India's integrity and encouraged attendees to honor Patel's legacy by taking inspiration from his dedication to the nation during its formative years.
