In a proactive move, Rajasthan minister Jogaram Patel announced on Friday that the Indian armed forces had successfully neutralized several Pakistani drones near the border. The situation prompted officials and police to ask residents to remain vigilant. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma subsequently called a high-level meeting, suspending leave for government staff in border regions.

Patel revealed that the Indian armed forces provided a robust response to Pakistani provocations. The state's ministers and officials were closely monitoring the developments along the border, which stretches approximately 1000 km, anticipating potential attacks on regions like Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. The vigilant air defense system effectively intercepted the Pakistani drones, showcasing the active support from residents in border areas.

Home Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham commended the Indian Army's swift action, reiterating that the military thwarted the drone attacks targeting civilians in Jaisalmer and other border areas. Chief Minister Sharma organized a strategic high-level meeting to establish necessary arrangements, dispatching administrative officers and state police to reinforce border security. The Indian Army confirmed multiple attacks by Pakistani forces using drones and munitions, vowing to protect the nation's sovereignty and respond decisively to any ceasefire violations along the Line of Control.
