In response to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the country's largest oil firm, has reassured the public that there is no shortage of fuel, and urged consumers to avoid panic buying.
Despite social media-driven concerns and videos showing long queues at petrol pumps, IOC confirmed that ample stocks of petrol, diesel, and LPG are available nationwide. The company emphasized that supply lines are functioning smoothly.
The panic buying was mostly observed in areas near the India-Pakistan border, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, where recent military skirmishes heightened anxiety.
