Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid homage to Maharana Pratap on his birth anniversary. Both leaders, in their social media tributes, honored the Mewar ruler's enduring role as a beacon of Indian self-respect and national pride.

Yogi Adityanath reflected on Maharana Pratap's sacrifice for his country, religion, and principles, declaring him a national hero who continues to guide future generations. The UP CM criticized historical portrayals under previous governments that highlighted Akbar's achievements while downplaying Maharana Pratap's impact.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh described Maharana Pratap as an inspirational figure for freedom fighters not only in India but also worldwide, citing how his legacy of sacrifice influenced nations as far as Vietnam during their struggles against major powers.
