Amid rising geopolitical tensions following Operation Sindoor, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav underscored the urgency of citizen security, deeming it the state government's foremost priority. Addressing a gathering at Samatva Bhavan, Yadav mandated immediate enhancement of precautionary measures, amid threats stemming from Pakistan's response to the action on terror infrastructures.
An official release detailed Yadav's directives, highlighting national security as the supreme duty. He called for reinforced citizen services and heightened departmental vigilance, particularly regarding crucial governmental facilities. Anti-national propaganda was to be strictly curtailed, urging citizens to dismiss any circulating rumors.
The meeting, attended by top state and military officials, including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Director General of Police Kailash Makwana, focused on enhancing state security frameworks. Yadav reiterated that departments remain on high alert and ready for emergencies, stressing that all facilitating officials should suspend any leave until stability is restored.
