Helen Clarkson, CEO of the Climate Group, underscored India's achievements during the Climate Group Asia Action Summit in Singapore. She noted the significant 220 GW renewable energy capacity, with solar energy comprising nearly half of this figure.
The summit called for bold leadership and innovative solutions to tackle Asia's intertwined economic and climate crises. Clarkson emphasized Asia's pivotal role in the global energy transition, advocating for strategic investments and scalable renewable programs.
