In a significant development for India's renewable energy sector, Vikram Solar has announced securing a major order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL). The order, amounting to 326.625 MW of solar modules, will be deployed for the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat.
With this latest order, Vikram Solar's total contribution to the renewable energy sector now stands at approximately 577 MW. The modules are scheduled for delivery in FY26, according to an official statement from the company.
Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, remarked on the order's significance, describing it as a reinforcement of the robust partnership with GIPCL. 'The Khavda project symbolizes a collective effort toward achieving energy security and sustainability,' he emphasized. Vikram Solar, based in Kolkata, continues to expand its global footprint, currently operating in 39 countries and specializing in high-efficiency photovoltaic module manufacturing.
