Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a high-level meeting at his residence on Monday, with key figures such as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in attendance. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan also participated, alongside military leaders including Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
On May 11, Prime Minister Modi mandated an assertive response to cross-border provocations, famously stating, 'Wahan se goli chalegi, toh yahan se gola,' indicating a forceful retaliation against any firing from across the Line of Control. According to sources, despite progress, Operation Sindoor is not yet complete.
The decisive turning point came after attacks on India's air bases, prompting intensified military operations. In line with the strategic objectives, the Indian Air Force reported the completion of its tasks with exceptional accuracy. However, the operations are ongoing, and IAF officials urge restraint from speculation and the spread of unverified information.
