India has launched a strong reply to Pakistan's alleged support for terrorism through 'Operation Sindoor.' On May 7, India initiated this operation in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives, revealing India's zero-tolerance approach against terrorism alongside strategic restraint and international backing.

The Indian Armed Forces executed precision missile strikes against nine terrorist hubs, targeting locations in Pakistan, including Bahawalpur and Muridke, as well as sites in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir like Muzaffarabad and Kotli. These bases were key command centers for Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, the groups behind past terror incidents such as the 2019 Pulwama attack and the 2008 Mumbai attack.

Responding to Pakistan's retaliatory attacks, India used kamikaze drones to dismantle Pakistani air defenses, scoring a direct hit on a system in Lahore. Indian air defenses successfully repelled incoming threats, leading to almost no casualties or losses and highlighting vulnerabilities in Pakistan's HQ-9 defense system.

India escalated its military response with strikes on the nights of May 9 and May 10, marking a historic first by targeting the air camps of a nuclear-armed nation. These attacks affected 11 Pakistani air bases, including Nur Khan and Sargodha, causing significant damages.

Military maneuvers were complemented by non-military actions like the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, affecting Pakistan's reliance on the Indus system for agriculture and water resources. India also closed the Attari-Wagah border, halted trade, and revoked visas for Pakistanis in India, further weakening Pakistan's economy and cultural influence.

On the international stage, India succeeded in exposing Pakistan's terrorist networks, thus heightening its isolation. These measures solidified India's position on counterterrorism and put Pakistan under significant pressure. (ANI)
