The mortal remains of Clive Kunder, co-pilot of the doomed Air India AI-171 flight, were returned to his home in Mumbai. The aircraft, which crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, claimed the lives of 241 passengers.

Emotions ran high as relatives and friends gathered at Kunder's residence in Goregaon (West). Among the mourners was actor Vikrant Massey, who shared on Instagram that Kunder was a dear family friend, expressing condolences for the grievous loss.

The disaster has prompted inquiries and calls for tighter regulations on aviation safety. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has proposed new rules to mitigate similar risks, hoping to prevent obstructions in flight paths with heightened oversight.
