The meeting emphasized the importance of close coordination with airlines to swiftly address passenger inconveniences. Additionally, airports were instructed to ensure the availability of necessities, such as food and seating, for passengers during delays or congestion. Deployment of adequate personnel at vital touchpoints was also prioritized to efficiently manage passenger complaints, as per the Civil Aviation Ministry's release on Thursday.

To maintain airport safety, emphasis was placed on reinforcing wildlife hazard management measures. The Minister also conducted a high-level meeting with Air India's leadership to discuss operational continuity and passenger safety amidst geopolitical developments affecting European and Middle Eastern airspaces.
In light of aircraft shortages, Air India announced temporary scaling down of operations and flight restructuring, with affected passengers offered rebookings or refunds. The Civil Aviation Ministry urged improvements in ground-level coordination and passenger communication at airports to handle cancellations and delays effectively.
