During YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's recent tour in Palnadu, controversy erupted over a provocative placard that read 'Rapa Rapa Narukutham' (we'll chop heads one by one). Held by a supporter of the YSR Congress Party, the slogan likens a possible YSRCP return to power in 2029 with symbolic beheadings in the Gangamma Jatara ritual. The incident garnered wide attention, prompting authorities to file a case against the individual involved and initiate a thorough investigation.

In a press meeting on Friday, YS Jagan addressed the issue, questioning the criticism against the Allu Arjun movie reference on the placard. He cited an investigation revealing the placard holder's affiliations with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Jagan took the opportunity to criticize the TDP leadership, suggesting the member's actions reflected dissent against their leader, Chandrababu Naidu.

Prior to this controversy, YS Jagan accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of orchestrating disruptions at his meeting with tobacco farmers in Prakasam district. Jagan claimed that despite provocations and violent attempts by TDP members to disrupt the gathering, the farmers remained composed. He highlighted his support for over 40,000 farmers facing unfair pricing issues and criticized Naidu for his alleged tactics to divert attention from crucial farming issues.
