Navy's Yoga Wave: 11,000 Join PM Modi in Yogic Celebration on Vizag Coastline

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheaded the 11th International Day of Yoga in Visakhapatnam, with Eastern Naval Command's participation marking a significant highlight. Over 11,000 naval personnel and their families engaged in yoga across the Vizag coastline and onboard Indian Navy vessels, reinforcing a commitment to holistic well-being.
This collaboration is part of YogAndhra 2025, a pivotal initiative led by the Ministry of Ayush and the Andhra Pradesh state government that aims to emphasize the importance of yoga in modern life. Participants lined the 30-km stretch of RK Beach, while frontline ships formed a striking maritime display at sea.
In his address, PM Modi celebrated yoga as a timeless gift that transcends age and boundaries, praising the Andhra Pradesh government for their commendable efforts. Joining him in this mass yoga session were over three lakh individuals, echoing the sentiment that yoga unites the world. The scenic event reflects on India's 2014 success in making June 21 a global yoga day.
