In a display of unity and health, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant spearheaded the International Day of Yoga 2025 celebrations in Goa, engaging in yoga routines at Dona Paula. The event included participation from the Chief Secretary, various secretaries, school students, and department heads, showcasing a collective commitment to wellness.

Addressing the media, Chief Minister Sawant highlighted the widespread participation across 15,000 venues within Goa, with involvement from ministers, MLAs, and students, attributing the global promotion of yoga to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi led similar celebrations on the picturesque Visakhapatnam coastline, praising the event as a 'gift that transcends boundaries'. The presence of Eastern Naval Command personnel and ships added grandeur. Modi lauded the Andhra Pradesh government's dedication and leadership in promoting yoga globally.
