During International Yoga Day festivities, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose emphasized yoga's global ascension from an Indian tradition, attributing its widespread acceptance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts. Modi's advocacy transformed yoga into a worldwide phenomenon, embraced for promoting healthy living.
Prime Minister Modi led a yoga session in Vishakapatnam, Tamil Nadu, marking the 11th International Yoga Day. The event highlighted yoga's universal appeal and urged it as a global policy for peace and unity. Chief Ministers and Union Ministers participated in similar events across their cities, celebrating the ancient practice.
Governor Bose also praised javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra for his recent victory in the Paris Diamond League, celebrating his achievement as a national success. Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, extended his wishes, urging regular yoga practice for health and well-being, reinforcing its cultural significance.
