BSF Embraces Yoga for Unity: International Yoga Day 2023 Celebrations at the Borders

The Border Security Force (BSF) observed International Yoga Day with significant festivities across its ranks, including a prominent event in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. BSF (North) Deputy Inspector General Yogendra Singh Rathore shared that the Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and 1500 BSF jawans participated at the border, promoting the virtues of yoga, even as a message of goodwill for neighboring Pakistan.
In Punjab, a grand yoga session unfolded at the Attari border in Amritsar, drawing substantial participation from BSF personnel. Held on June 21 as part of nationwide events, the session focused on endorsing both physical and mental fitness among jawans, with participants practicing yoga poses harmoniously against the Indian flag's backdrop.
In New Delhi, BSF Director General Daljit Singh Chaudhary joined officers for Yoga Day, emphasizing discipline and fitness in the force. Earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spearheaded the 11th International Yoga Day in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur, lauding army valor in Operation Sindoor and highlighting its ongoing significance against recent terror threats from Pakistan.
