The Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) marked the 11th International Day of Yoga with great fervor on Saturday, organizing large-scale events across various remote and strategic locations in the islands. A video released by the ANC Public Relations Officer highlighted participants engaged in yoga sessions on the beach, showcasing widespread enthusiasm.

The celebrations, held in 2025, underscored unity, harmony, and nationalism. A significant sunrise yoga session at Indira Point, the southern extremity of India, saw the participation of the Commander-in-Chief of the ANC (CINCAN) along with personnel from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard, embodying a spirit of collective strength.

Through its official social media presence, ANC acknowledged the spirit of Bharat (India) during #IDY2025. The initiative at Indira Point symbolized harmony and national unity. Yoga sessions were conducted on warships across maritime boundaries, fostering regional ties. Over 900 individuals at INS Utkrosh embraced the year's theme, 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health,' reflecting on India's ancient wisdom of universal wellness and balance.
