Andhra Pradesh marked a landmark achievement on International Yoga Day, as Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his delight over the success of the main event, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Visakhapatnam. The state set a remarkable 23 records, underscoring the transformative impact of its extensive yoga awareness programs.
Chandrababu Naidu proudly shared that Andhra Pradesh had secured two Guinness World Records and 21 World Book of Records, with the event engaging over 2.3 crore participants at 1.43 lakh locations. This unprecedented participation spanned across a host of countries, reaffirming the government's dedication to promoting yoga on a global scale.
Prime Minister Modi, who celebrated the occasion at the picturesque Visakhapatnam coastline, commended the Andhra Pradesh government and CM Naidu's leadership, along with Jana Sena Party's Pawan Kalyan, for their exemplary organization of the international event. He highlighted yoga's universal appeal and its role in fostering health and unity worldwide.
