In a recent development, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi took a sharp jibe at the intensified coordination between the United States and Israel following strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. Chaturvedi remarked, 'America voted for President Trump but got Netanyahu as their boss.'

The strikes occurred in the early hours, with reports indicating that key nuclear sites in Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow were targeted. Defence analyst Sanjeev Srivastava noted that the strikes represented a 'major escalation' in regional tensions, effectively crippling elements of Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

President Trump, in his public remarks, indicated potential further action if Tehran does not agree to a peaceful settlement. 'There will either be peace or a tragedy for Iran far greater than witnessed over the last week,' Trump stated. He also extended gratitude towards Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and lauded the military prowess of both nations in executing the operation.
