Himachal Congress Honours Virbhadra Singh’s Legacy on 91st Birth Anniversary
The Himachal Pradesh Congress celebrated the 91st birth anniversary of six-time Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh with a tribute ceremony in Shimla. Led by his son, Vikramaditya Singh, the event emphasized Virbhadra Singh's lasting influence on the state and included diverse commemorative activities.

In a heartfelt tribute, the Himachal Pradesh Congress marked the 91st birth anniversary of Virbhadra Singh, a six-time Chief Minister, at their Shimla headquarters. The ceremony saw a congregation of senior leaders and party workers, led by PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, commemorating the political giant's longstanding contributions.
Speaking at the event, Vikramaditya Singh underscored the significance of remembering his father's contributions to the present-day Himachal Pradesh. He highlighted that a professional boxing tournament was also held at the historic Ridge Ground in Virbhadra Singh's memory. "His legacy is crucial for our state's development," Vikramaditya stated.
As part of the memoriam, a statue of Virbhadra Singh has been erected and is set to be officially unveiled on July 15, in a non-political event attended by significant Congress leadership. Opposition leaders have also been invited in a spirit of unity to honor his enduring influence on Himachal Pradesh's development.
