On Monday, a Jammu court allowed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) a five-day remand for two individuals linked to the Pahalgam terror attack case. The accused, Parvaiz Ahmad and Bashir Ahmed, appeared before the Additional District and Session Judge, who set the next hearing date for June 27, 2025.
The NIA announced these arrests, alleging that the suspects provided shelter to terrorists responsible for the assault on Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 civilian lives. This development follows an intense investigation aimed at deciphering the web of relations sustaining such crimes.
PDP leader Iltija Mufti called upon the Central government to expedite the arrest of all culprits tied to this tragic event.
