In a commendable operation named 'Operation Sindhu,' India has successfully evacuated over 2,500 nationals from the conflict-ridden region of Iran. The evacuees have widely praised the Indian government for its efficient efforts and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for ensuring their safe return to home soil.
Saiyada Jeniffer Rizvi, one of the evacuees, recounted the dire circumstances in Iran, highlighting that without the intervention of the Indian Embassy, they would have faced severe challenges. She extended her thanks to the embassy personnel and the Modi government's swift action.
A recent flight marked a significant step in the evacuation efforts, bringing back 281 Indian nationals along with Sri Lankan and Nepalese citizens stranded in Iran. The Ministry of External Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to rescue operations for Indians and assistance to neighboring countries during crises.
