Delhi Minister and BJP leader Parvesh Verma, along with BJP Delhi President Virendra Sachdeva and Minister Kapil Mishra, gathered for a prayer meeting to remember the 18th death anniversary of former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma.
At the event, Minister Kapil Mishra highlighted Verma's enduring legacy, noting his administrative prowess and straightforward manner that left a lasting mark on Delhi. Mishra remarked, "The foundation he laid is being built upon by our current government under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's leadership."
Sahib Singh Verma, renowned for his agricultural and community service roots, progressed politically through the RSS and BJP, significantly expanding the party's influence in Delhi and North India. His tenure included service as Mayor, becoming Chief Minister, and later as Union Minister of Labour.
