Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has underscored the critical role of agriculture and prosperous farmers in realizing the vision of 'Viksit Bharat' or a developed India.

During the 11th convocation at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Chouhan stressed the importance of integrated farming, which includes crop cultivation and animal husbandry, as vital for making agriculture a profitable venture.

The minister, affectionately known as 'mama', encouraged graduating students to leverage their education to contribute to national growth. He noted that agriculture without animal husbandry cannot be profitable, urging continuous advancement in this field.
