In an effort to curb the drug menace in Mizoram, Chief Minister Lalduhoma has called for a compassionate and community-based approach.
At a drug disposal event organized by the Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA), drugs worth over Rs 4.29 crore were destroyed. He emphasized the importance of building strong support systems not just for those battling addiction, but also for their families and communities.
Lalduhoma announced government plans to collaborate with church organizations to establish quality rehabilitation centers, while lauding the Young Mizo Association's dedication to societal well-being.
