The central government, in collaboration with the Chhattisgarh government, has ramped up its mission to eradicate Naxalism, setting an ambitious goal of accomplishing this by March 2026. Narayanpur Collector Pratishtha Mamgai confirmed that a comprehensive survey has been conducted to ensure housing for all Naxal victims and those who have surrendered. Eligible beneficiaries have been sanctioned homes under the Prime Minister's housing scheme.

Mamgai emphasized the government's commitment to skill development, highlighting that 110 individuals are currently enrolled in various courses at the Livelihood College. These range from training for taxi drivers to plumbing and water distribution, providing participants a pathway to sustainable employment.

Chhattisgarh's new Naxal rehabilitation policy offers a lifeline to surrendered insurgents by focusing on skill enhancement and workplace readiness. Participants completing the training are eligible for a monthly stipend of ten thousand rupees for three years. Skill Development and Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap stresses the need for customized training to harness the existing skills of former Naxalites, facilitating their reintegration into productive society. A former Naxalite expressed gratitude for the government's support, noting the positive changes since receiving training at Narayanpur's Livelihood College.
