Karnataka politics has witnessed a fresh altercation as BJP MLA Mahesh Tenginkai rebuked Congress Minister Priyank Kharge following Kharge's suggestion to ban the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Tenginkai asserted that Congress does not deserve even an opposition status, urging Kharge to reconsider his statements.
The BJP is confident of retaining power for the next 20 years, dismissing Kharge's comments as lacking significance. On social media, BJP's Karnataka unit criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, highlighting Kalaburagi's underdevelopment under Kharge's longstanding influence.
The BJP further accused Priyank Kharge of trying to distract public attention from controversies like the Multi Crore Housing Committee scam, by targeting debates on constitutional terms. Anti-RSS rhetoric continues to fuel passionate discourse, marking deep divisions between the two parties.
