Boeing, the American aerospace giant, has enhanced India's military capabilities by delivering three Apache attack helicopters to the Indian Army. The delivery comes as part of an agreement to supply six AH-64E Apache helicopters, recognized globally for their advanced multi-role combat features.
These state-of-the-art helicopters are expected to significantly boost the operational prowess of the Indian Army, as stated in their social media posts. This development follows Boeing's completion of a contract in 2020, where they delivered 22 E-model Apaches to the Indian Air Force.
The decision to integrate these formidable machines into the Indian Army stems from a multi-billion dollar agreement struck in September 2015, alongside a Rs 4,168 crore deal approved by the Defence Ministry in 2017. These steps have underscored India's commitment to enhancing its defense capabilities with cutting-edge aviation technology.
