In a significant development for infrastructure in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a substantial sum of Rs 62 crore to bolster the state's drinking water schemes. This financial boost will support the maintenance of pumping-based drinking water systems and both urban and rural water supply schemes managed by the Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan and the Drinking Water Corporation, ensuring constant access to clean water.

Apart from water supply improvements, Chief Minister Dhami has authorized Rs 11.04 crore for a new multi-level parking facility and multipurpose building in the Champawat district's Pati block. An additional Rs 4.66 crore has been directed towards converting the Chitai-Petshaal-Bhetadagi motor road into an all-weather passage, enhancing connectivity in Almora district's Assembly constituency.

Further infrastructure developments include Rs 2.83 crore for a span bridge and approach road on Levada river in Udham Singh Nagar district's Bajpur constituency. Other approved projects are a Rs 1.16 crore car park near Omkareshwar temple in Rudraprayag district and Rs 3.18 lakh for a tunnel parking DPR in Uttarkashi. Chief Minister Dhami also participated in regional democratic processes, casting his vote in the Panchayat elections alongside his mother.
