IIT Jammu recently hosted 'Navarambh'25', an orientation ceremony welcoming the Undergraduate Batch of 2025. The event, marking the start of an academic journey, was honored by the presence of Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who served as the Chief Guest and was welcomed by the institute's director, Prof Manoj Singh Gaur.
The ceremony opened with the National Anthem and a traditional lamp-lighting, setting the stage for a welcome address by Dr. Garima Singh. Prof Abhay Sharma shared the academic vision of IIT Jammu, emphasizing the transformative potential of Navarambh for intellectual and personal growth.
Dr. Sartaj Ul Hasan detailed campus activities, and student speakers Aditya and Kanishka relayed their experiences at the institution.
