Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, disclosing that security forces had successfully eliminated three top Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, including the notorious commander Suleman, during Operation Mahadev in Jammu and Kashmir. Suleman, also known as Faizal, was involved in the Pahalgam terror attack.

Shah stated that the three militants—Suleman, Afghan, and Jibran—were gunned down in a coordinated operation by the Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police. Describing them as A-category terrorists, Shah highlighted their involvement in the brutal attack on citizens in Baisaran Valley.

The Home Minister revealed that individuals supplying food to the terrorists were detained prior to the operation, aiding in the identification of the terrorist bodies. This accomplishment follows a firefight with security forces near Dachigam National Park in Srinagar on Monday, signifying a decisive victory against terrorism.
