An alarming incident unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir as a bus transporting Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans slipped off the Kullan bridge and plummeted into the River Sindh, officials reported on Wednesday.

In response, a swift search and rescue operation was initiated by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in Ganderbal, complemented by a sub-component team from Gund stationed at Kullan.

The SDRF also released footage of the unfolding drama showing rescue personnel striving to extract the submerged bus from the river. Additional details regarding this distressing event are still pending (ANI).
