Hero's Homecoming: CRPF Inspector Jeffrey Hmingchullo Celebrated in Churachandpur

A wave of pride pulsed through Churachandpur as CRPF Inspector Jeffrey Hmingchullo returned to an exuberant homecoming celebration. Honored with the prestigious Shaurya Chakra, Inspector Hmingchullo received the award from President Droupadi Murmu on May 22 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, recognizing his exceptional bravery during a critical anti-Maoist operation in Chatra district, Jharkhand.

The village, predominantly inhabited by the Kuki tribe in Manipur's Churachandpur district, turned out in large numbers to welcome their local hero.
