In a day marked by intense political drama, both the Lower House and the Upper House of Parliament faced disruptions on Thursday as opposition protests took center stage. The proceedings were adjourned in the Lok Sabha till 2 PM and in the Rajya Sabha till 12 noon following opposition members' vociferous protests and their entry into the well of the House.

Amidst loud sloganeering, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed his frustration, questioning the opposition's commitment to constructive dialogue. 'The Parliament is for discussion and dialogue,' he asserted before adjourning the session. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh adjourned the House as opposition members demanded a Suspension of Business under Rule 267, a request that was ultimately dismissed.

The eleventh day of the Monsoon Session saw significant legislative undertakings. Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced a resolution for the continuation of President's Rule in Manipur, while the Rajya Sabha considered the Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill, 2025. Protests continued outside Parliament, with Sonia Gandhi standing in solidarity with opposition bloc INDIA against BJP's policies.
