The Delhi High Court issued a notice to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) regarding MP Engineer Rashid's challenge against the framing of charges. This was scheduled for review on October 6. Concurrently, the court transferred a plea concerning a custody parole modification to a roster bench.

Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani will preside over the custody parole plea scheduled for August 6. The division bench of Justices Vivek Chaudhary and Shalinder Kaur requested NIA's response to Engineer Rashid's charges. Special Public Prosecutor Akshai Malik acknowledged the notice.

Senior Advocate N Hariharan advocated for an interim bail for Rashid to attend the parliamentary session, agreeing to press the plea modification. The High Court emphasized that the arguments remained unchanged from previous hearings, urging the focus on modifying earlier orders.
