In a scathing accusation, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has alleged that the Election Commission of India is complicit in voter fraud, purportedly to favor the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Speaking about the Bihar Special Intensive Revision exercise, Gandhi asserted that Congress possesses undisputed proof of the fraud.
Addressing reporters, Gandhi declared, "Votes are being stolen" and claimed that their evidence, when revealed, would expose the EC's role in this serious breach of democratic trust. He likened the investigation's findings to an "atom bomb," suggesting it could destabilize the Election Commission's foundation.
Gandhi warned that those within the Election Commission involved in these actions would face consequences, calling the acts "no less than treason." As political tensions continue, the Congress leadership, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, has engaged with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla amid ongoing legislative deadlock.
