Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Operation Sindoor during his visit to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, crediting the operation's success to the blessings of Lord Mahadev. Speaking at a public gathering, he declared that Operation Sindoor avenged the loss of 26 innocent lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.

Reflecting on his commitment to retaliate after the April 22 attack, PM Modi said, 'This is my first visit to Kashi after Operation Sindoor. My heart was filled with sorrow for the innocent lives lost in Pahalgam. With Mahadev's blessings, I pledged to avenge the sindoor of our daughters, which I achieved.'

Praising the Kanwar Yatra, Modi remarked on the divine scenes of Lord Shiva's devotees carrying Ganga water. He refrained from praying at Kashi Vishwanath Temple to ensure no inconvenience to other worshippers. Additionally, Modi released funds for farmers and launched development projects in his constituency.
