Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday urged emerging scientists and experts to embrace smart farming, stating that the comprehensive transformation from 'Beej se Bazar tak' has been Jammu and Kashmir's guiding principle.
During SKUAST-Jammu's 9th Convocation, Sinha praised the contributions of 'Nari Shakti' in boosting productivity and efficiency within agriculture. He acknowledged the dominance of women in recent academic accolades, underscoring their rising impact in the sector.
Highlighting innovative needs, Sinha launched a cutting-edge Ex-Situ Gene Bank and laid foundations for new university facilities, marking important advances in agricultural research and education.
