Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a scathing attack on Congress, accusing the party of protecting terrorists and wrongly implicating innocent Hindus in the Malegaon blast case. Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of a Rs 2,517 crore Integrated Township project in Meerut, Adityanath criticized opposition parties for allegedly conspiring against nationalists and questioned the credibility of their stance.

Accusing Congress and the Samajwadi Party of promoting casteism, communal riots, and appeasement politics, the Chief Minister contrasted this with his administration's focus on nationalism and inclusive development. The Meerut project, dedicated to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, aims to transform the region into a modern hub of residential, industrial, and commercial infrastructure, integrating educational and healthcare facilities to spur employment and growth.

Entrusted with a mission to empower, Adityanath extended financial support to entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and housing beneficiaries. Highlighting Meerut's transformation, he announced new projects like the country's first sports university and an expressway connecting Meerut to Prayagraj. He praised initiatives like 'Vocal for Local' to retain national wealth and promised free public transport for women during Rakshabandhan, asserting that Meerut is rapidly evolving from turmoil to development and prosperity.
