Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu underscored the urgency for ongoing capacity building in the civil service to meet the evolving demands of governance, during the inauguration of a five-day lead trainers' workshop under Mission Karmayogi. This initiative aims to future-proof bureaucracy by equipping it with essential skills and attitudes necessary for modern governance.

Dubbed not just a training program but a movement, Mission Karmayogi seeks to transform government employees' mindsets to prioritize empathy, creativity, and humility in public service, Khandu stated. The Chief Minister highlighted that real, lasting change starts from within and how public servants interact with citizens.

With an emphasis on culturally sensitive development and enhancing the happiness index, Khandu advocated for inclusive growth that reaches underserved communities. He pushed for a shift from rule-based to role-based human resources, digital upskilling, and improved service delivery to achieve these ambitious goals.
