Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with key political figures such as Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP President JP Nadda, gathered at the Parliament Library Building on Tuesday to participate in a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary meeting. Esteemed attendees included Union Parliamentary Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut.

The NDA parliamentary session is unfolding as both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members converge, amid disruptions fueled by opposition demands to address the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Bihar's electoral rolls. The opposition is pushing for the retraction of the SIR exercise, which has ignited controversy.

Opposition protests on Monday halted proceedings in the Lok Sabha, stalling the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025, alongside the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill, 2025. Simultaneously, leaders of the INDIA bloc convened in the Parliament Library for discussions, ahead of a planned demonstration at Makar Dwar against the SIR initiative under the slogan 'our vote, our right, our fight.'

In today's agenda, the Lok Sabha will first honor deceased former MPs, including Tilakdhari Prasad Singh, Ram Rati Bind, and Shibu Soren, before proceeding to legislative business. Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya is prepared to propose amendments to the National Anti-Doping Act, 2022, and to introduce the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025.
