Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with members of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, received accolades for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor. This recognition took place at a key meeting held at the Parliament Library Building in New Delhi. Meanwhile, the NDA faces an ongoing standoff with opposition parties who are calling for a debate on the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar.

The enthusiastic celebration, marked by resounding applause and chants of 'Har Har Mahadev', also honored the achievements of Operation Mahadev. Key NDA figures such as Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut attended from both houses of Parliament.

The NDA's parliamentary meeting coincided with the absence of key legislative discussions in the Lok Sabha, including the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025, and the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill, 2025, due to opposition-led disruptions. Concurrently, leaders of the INDIA bloc convened in the Parliament Library Building and plan a protest against the Special Intensive Revision under the rallying cry, 'our vote, our right, our fight'.
