Participants included Severin Schwan, the Chairman of Roche, along with Alfred Gantner and Marcel Erni, who co-founded the Swiss private equity powerhouse, Partners Group. The meeting also welcomed Daniel Jaeggi, president of the energy company Mercuria, and Jens Fehlinger, CEO of Swiss International Airlines.
A government spokesperson confirmed that the delegation discussed tariffs but withheld further information. Talks with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio aim to ease these tariffs, potentially benefiting both economies.
