Further honoring Swaminathan's legacy, the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation and The World Academy of Sciences will introduce the M.S. Swaminathan Award for Food and Peace. Modi will present this award to the first recipient, recognizing contributions to food security, climate justice, and peace in developing nations.
