Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini graced the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at Gurjar Dharamshala in Kurukshetra, expressing his best wishes to the state's citizens. He highlighted the festival's deep ties to Indian culture, advocating for its timeless messages of unity and brotherhood.
During his address, CM Saini noted Kurukshetra's sacred history, where Lord Krishna imparted the Gita's wisdom to Arjuna. He underscored the ongoing relevance of its teachings on action, dharma, and truth in forging a modern, inclusive Haryana, dedicated to eliminating discrimination and fostering mutual respect and harmony.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the state's alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,' ensuring unbiased benefits for all citizens from government initiatives. He also stressed the importance of cultural preservation through festivals like Sri Krishna Mahotsav and International Gita Jayanti, spreading the Gita's sacred message worldwide.
Highlighting the Gurjar community's courageous history intertwined with Lord Krishna and Gokul culture, CM Saini urged adherence to dharma, justice, and truth. He agreed to meet with the Union Railway Minister regarding a requested access route and announced a Rs. 51 lakh donation for Dharamshala's public services.
CM Saini assured that Haryana's government would address the community's viable demands, with former minister Kanwarpal Gurjar also speaking at the event.
