Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reaffirmed government support for traders, emphasizing their vital role in state development. Speaking at the Haryana Oil Mills Association meeting in Kurukshetra, Saini pledged immediate resolution of trader issues and announced halving the lump sum fee for binola machines from Rs. 42,000 to Rs. 21,000.

During Krishna Janmashtami celebrations in Kurukshetra, CM Saini, celebrating the connection of the festival with Indian culture, highlighted the significance of Lord Krishna's teachings from the Gita. He stated that these teachings guide Haryana's progress towards a non-discriminatory and harmonious society, aligned with India's broader vision under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Saini emphasized cultural preservation alongside development, supporting events like Sri Krishna Mahotsav and Gita Jayanti Mahotsav to disseminate Krishna's teachings globally. He addressed the Gurjar community's requests, promising to meet the Union Railway Minister for an access route to the Dharamshala and announced a grant of Rs. 51 lakh for the community's public service initiatives.
