In a move to streamline digital governance, Andhra Pradesh's Information Technology department has directed district collectors to encourage citizens to obtain certificates exclusively through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp platform, eliminating the need for in-person visits to government offices.

At the District Collectors' Conference held at the Secretariat, Secretary Katamneni Bhaskar emphasized the transformative potential of Mana Mitra, calling it a pivotal tool for governance. He instructed collectors to ensure that certificates like caste, nativity, birth, or death are accessed digitally and securely via Mana Mitra.

Through the integration of DigiLocker and blockchain technology, certificates issued are digitally safe and tamper-proof. Currently, with 738 services available, officials can also track public satisfaction and welfare implementation in real-time, reinforcing the government's commitment to innovative, data-driven service delivery.
